The Passage

A quick hop to another area of Charleston Bay where it is quieter. Austin was the captain and Patti brought up the anchor. The crew included Clara & Zoe plus Paige & Lily from Ego Domi.

Anchoring Conditions

  • Depth: [depth]
  • Bottom Material: Mud
  • Anchor Set: Good — no problems
  • Holding: Good Hold
  • Swell/Fetch: Minimal — no wake zone
  • Notes: Quieter anchorage than Patriot’s Point; closer dinghy dock

Things of Note

After getting struck by lightening, Ego Domi wanted to go back to the Safe Harbor anchorage as it is quieter and we are closer to a dinghy dock while they figure out their next moves.

While at Anchor

8/24 – Dinghied up the River to Sarah’s house as a final stop on our OBX tour

8/25 – Zoe said good bye to friends Bennett & Kyle on Grace Abounds as they head to Texas today and we will *hopefully* be gone before they come back. Zoe & Austin took paint off the back deck. Patti & Clara went to the Coffee shop with Heather & Chloe to cool down and work on website.
